Regulate & Liberate–
Repattern (Emotional Eating)

Gently reshaping the patterns behind emotional eating

This practice is designed to support a shift in the patterns that drive emotional eating.

Not by removing the urge.

But by changing the response to it.

For many women, emotional eating has never been about food alone.

It has been a response.

To stress.
To overwhelm.
To pressure.
To emotion.

And over time, that response can become automatic.

Not because you lack control.

But because your brain has learned that this helps.

This practice works beneath that pattern.

Helping to gently reshape the connection between feeling and response.

So that space begins to open.

And choice becomes possible.

Where to Begin

(You don’t need to do everything at once. Just start where you are.)

When to use this practice

You may find this particularly supportive when:

You feel an urge to eat that doesn’t feel like physical hunger
You notice yourself pulled into familiar patterns around food
You feel emotionally activated or overwhelmed
You want to respond differently, but feel stuck in the moment

This can be used in the moment…

Or at any time you want to begin reshaping the pattern.

How to approach this practice

There is nothing you need to force here.

You are not trying to stop yourself.

You are not trying to remove the urge.

You are allowing your system to learn something new.

If your mind wanders, that’s okay.

If it feels unfamiliar, that’s okay.

Just return to the practice.

Gently.

Because this is how patterns begin to change.

Listening with headphones/earphone is recomended.

Begin when you’re ready

Each time you return to this practice, you are creating space where there was once automatic response.

And that is how the pattern begins to change.
