Regulate & Liberate – Release

Gently releasing emotional intensity and creating space before response

This practice is designed to support the release of emotional intensity that can sit beneath patterns.

Not by pushing it away.

But by allowing it to move.

At times, the pull towards food is not about hunger.

It is a response to something that feels difficult to hold.

This practice creates space within that moment.

So that the response no longer needs to happen automatically.

When to use this practice

You may find this particularly supportive when:

You feel an urge to eat that doesn’t feel physical
You feel overwhelmed or emotionally heightened
You notice a familiar pattern beginning to build
You want to create space before reacting

How to approach this practice

There is nothing you need to get right here.

You are not trying to force change.

You are allowing your system to respond differently.

If your mind wanders, that’s okay.

If it feels unfamiliar, that’s okay.

Simply return to the practice, gently.

Listening with headphones/earphone is recomended.

Begin when you’re ready

You can return to this practice as often as you need.

Each time you do, you are creating space where there was once automatic response.
