TABULA RASA- ‘AN ABSENCE OF PRECONCEIVED IDEAS OR PREDETERMINED GOALS; A FRESH AND CLEAN SLATE’.

This extremely powerful process has been pioneered to give you a clean slate from your past weight loss efforts, and remove any memory residue of old beliefs that we have reframed to create a clear path for your future weight loss success.

The reason this is so important is that all the beliefs, teachings, and experiences from your past may have created mental and physical resistance or blocks to this process that could resurface, causing you to struggle to succeed, and it’s imperative you succeed.

And as much as you may feel completely ready to try a new approach to losing weight, that decision alone may not be enough, as you will have years of conditioned behavioural habits and beliefs old that are deeply embedded within your subconscious mind due to constant reinforced repetition, and is is essential that we disconnect from them entirely and re-condition your behaviour to ensure that no unconscious mental resistance interferes with this future process.

The body-mind connection is extremely strong and reacts negatively to unsuccessful experiences.

So far, your beliefs, strategies, and methods have failed to deliver the desired results, leaving you feeling frustrated and disappointed — emotions that have become deeply rooted within you.

This is because our subconscious mind has memory formation, and it has stored every single weight loss attempt you’ve made in a mental file under ‘negative and stressful experiences’.

Every time you enter another weight loss cycle, your subconscious brain automatically recalls previous attempts and the negative emotions associated with them, focusing strongly on those memories.

This is due to a phenomenon called the negativity bias.

The danger here is that, as a direct consequence of the negativity bias, a part of your brain called the hypothalamus initiates your body’s stress response, flooding your system with the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline to prepare for the stress it predicts based on past experiences.

Prolonged adrenaline release can impair insulin sensitivity, resulting in elevated blood sugar levels and potential weight gain.

Cortisol can lead to increased appetite (particularly for comfort foods high in sugar and fat), fat storage, metabolism changes (including a slowing metabolism), and insulin resistance.

This means that every time you begin a new weight loss attempt, you are already at a significant disadvantage, as your body is reacting to these negative memories and creating physical resistance to weight loss.

Not only does this make it harder for you to lose weight, but it can actually contribute to weight gain.

Therefore, in order to achieve what you never have before — permanent weight loss results — you will need not only to break free from a diet-focused life by no longer habitually tracking calories or counting points but also to perform a master reset on your brain and nervous system.

This will free you from the emotional weight of your old patterns, giving you a clean slate and the absolute best chance of success.
